This synthetic tipped applicator is made of medical-grade polyester fiber that is carded in our factory to maintain consistency. It is non-absorbent and contains no fatty acids or latent sugars, making it ideal for specimen transport, lab work, and diagnostic kits. It is bonded securely to a semi-flexible polystyrene handle by an aqueous based adhesive.
